Rizhao Blazers Supplies 20 Heavy-Duty Vehicles for Gara Djebilet Iron Ore Project in Algeria

Rizhao Blazers has successfully delivered 20 units of heavy-duty vehicles to support the large-scale construction and ore transportation of the Gara Djebilet Iron Ore Project in Algeria, one of the largest mining projects in North Africa.

Project Introduction

Gara Djebilet Iron Ore Mine is the largest iron ore project in North Africa with 3.5 billion tons of reserves. It is developed by Sinosteel and CRCC as a key Belt and Road Initiative project.

Located in the Sahara Desert, the mine faces high temperatures, sandstorms, and tough road conditions. A 950km heavy-haul railway has been built to support ore transportation, with an annual capacity of 50 million tons.

Phase I of the mine produces 4 million tons of iron ore concentrate per year, and will reach 12 million tons in the future. The project will form a complete industrial chain including mining, beneficiation, railway transport and port logistics.

Vehicle Delivery for Mining Operations

 To meet the high demand for mining transport and construction, Rizhao Blazers cooperated with the project subcontractor and provided a full set of heavy-duty vehicles:

 - 10 units Sinotruk Howo 6×4 dump trucks

- 5 units Sinotruk Howo 6×4 tractor trucks

- 5 units dump semi-trailers

 All vehicles have been produced, inspected, shipped and delivered on site, providing reliable support for project construction and iron ore transportation.
